Artist Statement
Starting out my inspiration came from praises from others, it felt good when others gave me compliments from my artwork so as I kept making artwork I would mostly look forward to those praises. Now I would say my main inspiration comes from stories. I love bringing stories to life, more specifically creating visual representation of concepts. Giving form to thoughts is what I call it. I envy talented authors for their ability to make their own world. This envy translated to the concept that inspires my creation. The concept that inspires my artwork I would say is Freedom. When I create art I always have a sense of freedom because I get to decide what goes where and how to approach what I want to create. My artwork has definitely evolved from studying multiple artists and works and applying what looks appealing from their works to my own. For example, starting out I was mostly doing 2D anime type work but now I really enjoy adding realism and trying to make the artwork pop out more.

My art making process begins with me envisioning the finished artwork, I don't work backwards but instead work towards the end after knowing what the end is. Then onwards the sketch. I usually study and look for other artists and try to translate their art styles onto my usual works, such as their use of color and line work. What I enjoy most of all is colorwork. I have a lot to Improve when it comes to using colorway in my prices and overall painting; so trying new ways to improve my skills is always intriguing to me. Deciding a piece is over comes when I can't think of any adjustments or new ideas to add. But the rendering has to come first before I begin to think about finishing.
